THE EXPERIENCE
For couples: Each having your own Potter's Wheel for the duration of the experience.
Cost: £70 per person
Time: 10am - 12 midday
2pm - 4pm
Refreshments will be offered throughout the day.
Please bring an old apron and small towel for when you are on the wheel.
Alternatively, apron and towel bundles can be hired at a cost of £4 per bundle.
Please wear clothes and footwear which you don't mind getting clay on. The clays does wash out easily.
Please tie long hair back and take off jewelery from your wrists and fingers.
EXPERIENCE DETAILS
After being offered a cup of tea or coffee you will be given a full demonstration. Then its your turn. All having a wheel of your own and enough clay for the duration of the experience. In a very relaxed atmosphere and setting you will have plenty of guidance on hand when needed.
After cleaning the wheels at the end of the day, you will choose your two favourite pots to keep which are included in the price. Extra pots can be kept at an extra cost of £8 per pot.
A choice of glaze colours will be on offer for you to choose from and after the bisque firing your pots will be dipped in your chosen glaze and fired in the kiln once more.
All being ready for collection around six weeks later. Or they can be posted to you for an extra cost.
